Halt the Abrupt OSAP Change and Phase It In Gradually: Rescind the immediate implementation of the 25/75 grant-to-loan cap scheduled for Fall 2026, replacing it with a phased, graduated transition that shields lower- and middle-income families from sudden financial distress.

Establish Formal Consultations: Open structured dialogue with student associations, equity-seeking organizations, and community advocates on the design of student financial aid.

Protect Professional and Healthcare Pathways: Keep targeted grant frameworks intact for high-demand, high-cost fields such as healthcare and medicine, so that entry is not determined by family wealth.
