Grants & Loans

Ontario Council wants to help all of it's members grow, engage in its community and advocate within its mandate. That's why it offers grants and loans to help its 48 clubs get started with special events and projects. Check out the 5 options below and email OC treasurer Heather with questions.

Grant for Non-Revenue Generating Special Event/Project

A club or group of clubs can apply for a grant to help run a non-revenue generating event or project such as an All Candidates Meeting, public forum, or informational project, either internal or external. These grants may be applied to new/ongoing advocacy projects

Loan/Grant for Hosting a Gathering

Thinking about hosting a regional gathering? OC makes it easy — and worry-free.

Grant for Non-Revenue Generating Membership Project

A club or group of clubs can apply for a grant to help run a non-revenue generating activity which will enable membership recruitment and aid in raising the club’s profile of CFUW such as creating professional materials, marketing or advertising.

Small Club Grant for Attending an AGM

Clubs with a membership of 60 or fewer regular and life members who send a delegate to the OC AGM (non-virtual) can apply to receive a grant.

Loan for Revenue Generating Event

When funds are available, OC can loan local clubs money for a fundraising event or project — anything meant to bring in revenue, like raffles, book sales, house tours, luncheons, ticketed events, or sales of items, no matter who the funds ultimately support.
