What you need to know before applying

​1.12.5  Ontario Council Special Event/Project Grant (for non-revenue generating event or project)​

 

Policy:

Ontario Council is committed to supporting Clubs holding special events which will increase their visibility amongst their members and the public.

 

Procedure:

  1. A club or group of clubs may submit a request for a grant to assist in the organization of a non-revenue generating event or project such as an All Candidates Meeting, public forum, or informational project, either internal or external. These grants may be applied to new/ongoing advocacy projects.

  2. Clubs seeking a grant from OC for an event/project will submit a budget, together with a written request to their Regional Director and OC Board. The request will be considered by the OC Board, subject to the availability of funds.

  3. A request may be made by a particular Club only once in each three-year period.

  4. The maximum amount of each grant is $500.

What you Need to Include with your Application

Every application needs to include a draft budget that outlines your anticipated expenses and income. OC has provided a sample budget to help you complete application.
