50 Years of Progress—The Journey Continues
2026 marks 50 years since the creation of a dedicated federal agency for the status of women in Canada. Looking back, we see how far we’ve come: from a time when women faced systemic barriers in finance, education, and leadership, to today’s strides in closing the gender wage gap and increasing representation in senior roles.
