BIOGRAPHY
I have been a member of CFUW Guelph since 1992 and have served as Chair of Program, Membership and Communications and served as a Co-VP, President and Past President. I am currently the Treasurer and a member of the Communications Committee.
I am active in several of our interest groups including cycling, gardening, a book group and Arts & Entertainment. I have not been involved with Ontario Council more than as an attendee of the Speaker series, but am looking forward to learning more and working with the Board.
I worked as a Teaching Associate in the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph and while I enjoyed the varied responsibilities that position entailed, I decided it was time to retire in June 2024. I did not work in Accounting, but I am a ‘numbers person’ and used Excel a lot!
I am married and have 3 daughters (1 in Burlington and 2 in Vancouver), 3 grandkids (2 in Burlington and 1 in Vancouver) and am currently without a dog for the first time in 24 years.
