BIOGRAPHY
I’ve been a CFUW Perth & District club member since 2020 and in that time, I redesigned our website, was on executive for the last 5 years, serving as membership chair, co-president, president, past president and now co-chair of the communications team. My background includes 30+ years in communications, where I worked as a journalist and freelance editor/writer, then 15 years in the communications departments of the Ontario ministries of Finance, Education, and Training, Colleges and Universities. Today I manage the communications for Perth’s Home & Garden Tour and for the last two years I have been Regional Director for Ontario East, and the Chair of the National RD Standing Committee.
From 2009 to 2022 I owned an online fabric store where I managed the website, wrote regular blogs and weekly newsletters with a distribution of 4,000, handled all graphics, photography and social media posts.
As Communications Chair I am excited to showcase the incredible work that CFUW Ontario Council does, to engage with members and clubs across the province and expand our reach through dynamic communications and outreach.
